Progressive Inter-Religious Encounters
The SnowStar Institute of Religious is dedicated to religious literacy in all world traditions. This means that SnowStar values critical scholarship in religion and the popularization of good scholarship regardless what tradition, set of beliefs, or customs it may encounter.
SnowStar works to provide articles in AXIAL and speakers at conferences that represent the diversity of religion in the human family. It seeks to relay introductory material to all religious traditions but also seeks to go one step further. SnowStar is about an open and free examination of religion; it incorporates historical skill, philosophical acumen, and cultural sensitivity in the question of religion and its future.
These questions take the SnowStar experience beyond inter-religious dialogue. SnowStar seeks to seeks to question the value and shape of religion for humanity and its common hope.
